Touchless car washing is by it's nature, easier on the automotive finish because there are no brushes or rags to rub dirt into the finish and cause the fine scratching we've all seen reflected in the sun on our car's hood. However, because there is no mechanical scrubbing of the dirt, it is a much more difficult job to remove dirt, brake dust, fuel residue and road film from the finish. This problem has caused a number of chemical companies rely on harsh acids or highly corrosive caustics to eat away at this film. Sometimes they are effective if used at a high enough volume, but these chemicals can very easily damage your car's fine finish! These are usually found in the less expensive and less effective formulas.
Touch Free Washing requires that several factors be present and working to provide a quality wash job, particularly because no mechanical scrubbing takes place. � Soft Water provides much more efficient cleaning and is the only way to get a good spot free rinse. Without soft water, up to 50% more detergent may be needed to clean effectively. � Pressure for an effective touch free wash typically must be in the 1000 to 1200 psi range to provide enough friction for the cleaning solution to remove road film, but without damaging the paint. � Angle of attack of the nozzles and pattern of spraying removes more dirt by striking the soil at an angle from more than one direction, thereby removing more than by a single angle of attack. � Temperature is critical to removing oily soils from a vehicle surface. Temperatures of the water must be limited to 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent damaging paint and striping. � Detergent is certainly the most critical component to a good touch free wash. Without this, touch free washing simply would not work. A good touch free detergent or presoak must be able to effectively lift, emulsify, disperse and sequester soils and carry them away in the rinse water without redepositing them on the vehicle. � Zap! 2 Touchless does all of this extremely well, providing a economical, biodegradable, and effective wash solution.

USE DIRECTIONS: For general presoak and touchless systems use at a dilution rate of 60-120:1 with soft water. For wand and self serve applications use 100-200:1 with soft water. Light duty pressure washing dilute up to 400:1.
